Centro Finance is the culmination of decades of significant financing experience by director William (Bill) Marshall. Dedicated to supporting property developers deliver new products to market – such as land subdivisions, multi-apartment and multi-housing units. The Centro team can provide wrap-around services for first-time developers as well as ensuring experienced developers can access easy, agile, realistic solutions.
Here at Centro Finance, we use the Six-Step Advice Process based on ISO 22222 globally accepted best practice standard for financial advice, which specifies ethical behaviour, competences and experience requirements.

A long career in corporate and commercial banking, as well as 15 years in Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Investment and Development funding markets, ensures Bill is well schooled to support your next project. Bill is committed to long and trusted relationships, and ensuring the success of projects across the Queenstown Lakes and Central Otago Districts.
Bill holds a New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services (Level 5), which is the latest qualification under the new financial advice regime for meeting the legal requirements for giving financial advice in New Zealand.
Bill has lent $2billion, having financed and administered funding from $3m to $50m on projects worth $5m to $100m on;
- 50+ land subdivisions
- 300+ apartment and housing units
- 20+ new hotel builds and/ or completed hotel complexes
- 5+ shopping centres
- Airport authorities

In his spare time, Bill likes to explore what this wonderful region is known for globally – its natural beauty, fantastic walking and cycle tracks, and of course its Pinot Noir.
